Yes! Most tents keep 30–40% of tables for walk-ins. Arrive before 15:00 on weekdays for the best chance.

## Is Oktoberfest family-friendly?
Yes, before 18:00. Many families visit on weekday afternoons. After dark it becomes adult-oriented.

## Can I bring children?
Yes, children under 18 can enter tents before 20:00 (some tents earlier). There are rides and games in the funfair area.

## What's the dress code?
No official dress code, but Tracht is the norm. Avoid sportswear in tents after 18:00.

## How do I pay?
Cash is preferred. Some larger tents accept cards. ATMs on-site have long queues and high fees.

## Is it safe?
Generally very safe. Pickpockets operate in crowds. Drink responsibly — 1 Maß per hour is a good pace.
